Makes a huge difference when i take them out hiking. Good grip. I have wide feet and these fit comfortably. My feet don't slip around inside so i haven't had any blisters (a problem with previous shoes). So far i've taken them on a few uphill/downhill hikes and they breathe well and are fairly light. They look great too!

No complaints, no blisters, no sore feet. We hiked in the Alps, walked miles daily and they held up nicely. My only word of caution... these toddler hiking shoes made my son's feet stinky.
